DAYTON, OHIO—Wright State Physicians Dermatology is offering a summer skin seminar on Tuesday, June 20, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., at the Wright State Physicians Health Center (725 University Blvd., Fairborn, Ohio 45324) on the campus of Wright State University. The seminar will be held in the classroom on the second floor. The session is free and open to the public.
Dermatologists Julian J. Trevino, M.D., and Elizabeth A.L. Muennich, M.D., Ph.D., will discuss how to have great-looking, healthy skin this summer.
Trevino is professor and chair of the Department of Dermatology at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, and Muennich is assistant professor of dermatology at the Boonshoft School of Medicine and director of the Cosmetic Dermatology Clinic at Wright State Physicians Dermatology.
They will discuss prevention and early detection of skin cancers; how to select and properly use sunscreen, and how toxins and skin filler agents can improve appearance.
“It is estimated that one in five Americans will develop skin cancer during their lifetime,” Trevino said. “There are steps you can take to reduce your risk of skin cancer and keep your skin looking healthy.”
No registration is required. For more information, call (937) 224-7546. Attendees can enter a raffle for a free area of treatment with Botox®. However, they must be 18 or older.
