Our Sports Medicine practice provides care to athletes and active persons of all ages and performance levels. All of our physicians are board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine in primary care sports medicine, and are on the teaching faculty at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
Our physicians serve as team physicians for Wright State University athletics and local high schools, and they are skilled in the treatment of all non-surgical orthopaedic issues. We provide expertise in concussions, fractures, over-use injuries and ultrasound-guided injections. Our sports medicine physicians are also skilled in pediatric and adolescent sports medicine.
We feel it is important to obtain a thorough history by listening to the patient and understanding their goals. We perform a comprehensive physical exam, testing and imaging to obtain the whole picture. These aspects come together to help us determine the diagnosis and the optimal plan of care that will aid our patients in achieving their treatment goals. We strive to provide education to the patient that leads to a better understanding of their injury and how they can reach their best outcome. We work together with the patient allowing them to return to activity as quickly and safely as possible.
