Fetal and Neonatal Alloimmune Thrombocytopenia (blood disorder)
This study is to assess the occurrence of HPA-1a alloimmunization in pregnant women. Neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia is a disease that affects babies in which the platelet count is decreased due the mother’s immune system.
You may qualify to participate in this research study if you:
- Are a pregnant female
- 18 years or older
- 10-14 weeks pregnant
There is no cost to participants.
Preeclampsia
Placental Exosomes Study
The purpose of this study is to get a better understanding of the development that leads to pre-eclampsia.
You may qualify to participate in this research study if you:
- Are a pregnant female
- 18-39 years of age
- diagnosed with pre-eclampsia
There is no cost to participants.
Placental Biopsy Study:
The purpose of this study to determine how often the pre-eclampsia gene is found in placentas.
You may qualify to participate in this research study if you:
- Are a pregnant female
- 18-39 years of age
- diagnosed with preeclampsia
