Our Sports Medicine practice provides care to athletes and active persons of all ages and performance levels. All of our physicians are board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine in primary care sports medicine, and are on the teaching faculty at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
Our physicians serve as team physicians for Wright State University athletics, and they are skilled in the treatment of all non-surgical orthopaedic issues. We provide expertise in concussions, fractures, over-use injuries and ultrasound-guided injections. Our sports medicine physicians are also skilled in pediatric and adolescent sports medicine.
We feel it is important to obtain a thorough history by listening to the patient and understanding their goals. We perform a comprehensive physical exam, testing and imaging to obtain the whole picture. These aspects come together to help us determine the diagnosis and the optimal plan of care that will aid our patients in achieving their treatment goals. We strive to provide education to the patient that leads to a better understanding of their injury and how they can reach their best outcome. We work together with the patient allowing them to return to activity as quickly and safely as possible.

On behalf of Wright State Physicians Sports Medicine, we want to welcome you to the practice. Your appointment is very important to us, and we want to make your visit as pleasant as possible.
Please read and complete all sections of your new patient paperwork beforehand, and bring them with you to your appointment.
If you have had any imaging studies completed within the past year, please bring all copies of these images on a disc to your appointment as well. If your imaging was completed at a Premier Health or Kettering Health Network facility, you do not need to bring a disc, as we have courtesy access to these imaging systems. Urgent care offices and other private physician offices are not usually on the Premier or Kettering systems.
If your insurance company requires you to have a referral before seeing a specialist, please have that referral faxed from your primary care practitioner’s office to 937.245.7311
