Wright State Physicians names Kimberly A. Paul chief operating officer
DAYTON, Ohio—Kimberly A. Paul, M.H.A., has been named chief operating officer of Wright State Physicians, one of the largest physician-managed multispecialty groups in the Dayton region, effective Feb. 1.
Paul was previously the senior business administrator for the Departments of Geriatrics and Surgery at Wright State Physicians and the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. She was responsible for the departments’ fiscal affairs and oversight of practice management.
A graduate of Ohio University, Paul earned a Master of Health Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences.
Paul began her career with Columbus Children’s Hospital, which is now known as Nationwide Children’s Hospital, in Columbus, Ohio. She served the hospital in several roles, including director of operations for the Center for Child & Family Advocacy, project manager for planning and business development, payor contract manager and managed care specialist.

In addition, she served on the Ohio Network of Child Advocacy Centers Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees of the Olentangy Education Foundation, Olentangy Local Schools, in Lewis Center, Ohio. Paul also served as a committee member of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital United Way Campaign and a fundraiser committee member of New Directions Career Center in Columbus, Ohio.
