Orthopaedic experts to address joint pain at free educational seminar
DAYTON, OHIO—Two orthopaedic experts will offer a free educational seminar about joint pain on Tuesday, June 14, at Miami Valley Hospital South conference center (2400 Miami Valley Drive) in Centerville.
Richard Laughlin, M.D., an orthopaedic surgeon, and Sean Convery, M.D., a sports medicine physician, will present the joint pain seminar at the Miami Valley Hospital South conference center. They will discuss will discuss innovative surgical and non-surgical treatment options to help restore mobility and reduce pain caused by arthritis and other conditions.
Laughlin is an orthopaedic surgeon with Wright State Physicians Orthopaedics and professor and chair of orthopaedic surgery in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Convery is a sports medicine physician and a clinical associate professor of family medicine at the Boonshoft School of Medicine. He also is a 1981 alumnus of the medical school.
Registration and check-in begins at 6:30 p.m. The presentation and open forum panel discussion is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The seminar is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Register early by calling CareFinders at (866) 608-FIND (3463).
