Wright State Physicians now provides financial counseling to patients
To better meet the needs of patients, Wright State Physicians now offers financial counseling services.
Tory Kirsch oversees the management of the organization’s self-pay accounts receivable and provides accurate cost-of-care estimates before services are rendered.
Wright State Physicians has created this new position to provide customer service and financial counseling to patients because of the increased volume of patient out-of-pocket expenses for those with high deductible plans and no insurance.
Kirsch refers patients to various state and federal programs for which they may qualify. She identifies patients in need of other financial assistance and follows up with them to resolve financial responsibility before surgical services or other routine or elective procedures.
Wright State Physicians Inc. includes more than 160 physicians affiliated with the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. The group provides primary and specialty care in a wide range of specialized diagnostic and treatment services throughout the Dayton region.
