Additionally, our attendings have faculty appointments with the Department of Psychiatry at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.

Psychotherapy Clinic

The Wright State Psychotherapy Clinic was developed in 1992 and provides a nationally recognized resident physician training site focused on providing high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy treatments for patients with:

  • anxiety
  • depression
  • relationship issues
  • traumatic life events

We are open and accepting new patients during the COVID-19 crisis. All appointments will be virtual via WebEx, which is an approved method to deliver safe and secure treatment. There are openings for adult, child and adolescent patients seeking weekly psychotherapy sessions. If you, or anyone you know, could benefit from speaking with a physician psychiatrist, consider calling the Wright State Psychotherapy Clinic at 937-775-7792. The intended patient, or legal guardian, must schedule their own screening visit. All patients are seen at $40 per session.

We cannot accept any form of insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid and CareSource. Due to resource limitations, we cannot treat patients with serious and persisting psychiatric disorders. Medication management cannot be the sole reason for a visit.
