R. Michael Johnson, M.D., FACS, is board certified, which means he has met the required education, operation and examination standards dictated by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a faculty member in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and therefore, constantly updates his skills and knowledge, thus ensuring he is able to teach tomorrow's physicians the latest in plastic surgery care.
Erin K. Kelly, RN, MSN, CNP, CWS, Wound Care Specialist
Ms. Kelly is an advanced practice nurse with a master's degree in nursing from Case Western Reserve University. She is double certified as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Ms. Kelly is a diplomat of the American Academy of Wound Management and a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS). She is a fellow of the American College of Certified Wound Specialists. Erin has practiced as an RN for over 20 years, and for the last eight years, has practiced in wound and skin care in both private practice and hospital settings. She is an experienced practitioner who possesses the knowledge, skills and judgment needed to manage and assist in the care of patients in surgical, acute care and outpatient settings. A valuable member of the healthcare team at Wright State Physicians Department of Plastic Surgery, Erin performs histories and physicals, wound assessment and evaluation, wound treatments and office procedures. She assists the surgeon by providing pre- and post-operative care. She is known for her efficient and excellent patient care, and for the sensitive and personalized attention given to patients regarding their concerns — before and after surgery.
