Wright State Physicians Family Medicine offers travel education and immunization services to provide you with any vaccines, medicines or safety tips before you travel outside the United States.
Whether you are traveling for business, school or pleasure, we can help with your international health care needs. We recommend and administer immunizations and medications related to your destination. We can provide you with information about how to protect yourself against insect-borne diseases and food and water illnesses.
If you will be traveling outside of the United States, contact Wright State Physicians Family Medicine at least four to six weeks before your trip. This will allow enough preparation time for safe and healthy travels.
When calling for an appointment, be prepared to provide the following:
- Country of destination
- Length of trip
- Types of activities you will be doing
At your appointment, be prepared to discuss your medical history, vaccine history and current medical state. Be sure to discuss any allergies, current medications or any other health concerns.
